How Does Drive-In Racking Work?
Drive-In systems use a series of rails installed on both sides of the rack structure:
- The forklift enters the rack lane.
- Pallets are placed on support rails instead of beams.
- Pallets are stored multiple positions deep.
- The last pallet loaded is the first one retrieved (LIFO)
This allows deep lane storage while reducing aisle space significantly.
